This notice describes how Boston Brownstones Realty, PLLC handles information in the resource portal at resources.bosbrown.com. Resource accounts are separate from the property-search accounts on our main Lofty website.
Information the portal handles
When you create an account, we receive your name, email address, and password. Your password is stored as a salted hash. Account records also include an account identifier, email-verification status, and creation and update dates.
The portal processes sign-in sessions, authentication and recovery records, IP addresses, browser or device information such as user-agent data, and records used to limit abusive requests. Our hosting and email providers may also process operational request, security, and email-delivery records.
Why we use this information
We use this information to create and maintain your account, verify your email, authenticate sign-ins, send verification and password-reset messages, provide protected PDF access, respond to support requests, and help prevent abuse or diagnose service problems.
You must verify your email and sign in before viewing or downloading the Home Purchase Timeline. A copy you download remains on your device after you sign out.
Services that help operate the portal
- OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide hosting and related infrastructure. Cloudflare D1 stores account, session, and security records; Cloudflare R2 stores the protected guide file.
- Resend delivers account verification and password-reset emails, which include the recipient’s email address, a name when supplied, and the account-action link.
- The Digital Roots Agency provides authorized website administration and support for Boston Brownstones Realty, PLLC.
Account access and marketing
Creating a resource account does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter, enroll you in Constant Contact, or add you to the Lofty CRM. This portal does not request a phone number or send SMS messages. Its account emails support verification and password recovery.
Cookies and portal tracking
The portal uses essential authentication and security cookies to maintain sign-in sessions. These cookies use Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite protections. We have not configured advertising pixels or analytics tools in this resource portal.
The main Lofty website has its own cookies, features, and privacy information. This notice describes the resource portal only.
Retention and account requests
Account information remains while it is needed to operate your account, until it is removed through a reviewed deletion request or a manual administrative review. There is no fixed automatic account-deletion schedule. Operational, security, or legal records may need to be retained separately, including when needed to address abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your resource-account information, email annie@bosbrown.com. Requests are handled manually. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Deletion is not automatic and may be subject to legitimate record-retention requirements.
Please do not send your password or verification or reset links in a support request.
